The company’s director and owner, Carl Doe-Lawson, has years of experience working as a disability support worker, coordinator, and case manager. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Disability Practice, an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, a Certificate IV in Disability, an MA in Economic Policy Management, and other credentials.

Following the provisional audit in December 2020, Carl Doe-Lawson made the decision to pursue his Master of Disability Practice studies at La Trobe University. The goal of becoming an NDIS registered provider began with the pursuit of an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management while providing care for a family member. Leveraging the primary objective of the diploma, DisCare Australia evolved from a class project, and has since become a reality as an innovative provider of disability services in Victoria and throughout Australia.
